July is packed with summer fun across Bancroft and the surrounding area. Local farmers markets continue every Saturday, while Canada Day celebrations, live music, the Baptiste Pike Derby, and the Fly-In Pancake Breakfast offer plenty of ways to enjoy the season. Community events such as Friends for Dinner bring people together, while the 23rd Annual Smile Charity Roundup at No Frills (July 9–26) helps support North Hastings District Hospital through customer donations and BBQ fundraisers.

Arts, culture, and community activities are thriving throughout the month. Visitors can enjoy exhibitions at A Place for the Arts and the Art Gallery of Bancroft, family-friendly productions at the Bancroft Village Playhouse, and Indigenous Expo 2026. Summer Euchre at the North Hastings Public Library offers weekly social card games, while the "Riddle Me This" event by A Place for the Arts, invites participants to explore the EMBRACE mural, solve riddles, and enter prize draws.

The month wraps up with the 61st Annual Rockhound Gemboree, one of Bancroft's most popular annual events. Whether you're interested in art, music, theatre, community gatherings, local markets, or outdoor adventures, July offers something for everyone across Bancroft and the surrounding area.
